火星で植民地となるコロニーを開拓・建設・運営していくシミュレーションゲーム。火星はとても過酷な環境として用意されており、隕石落下や酸欠、凍死や砂嵐といった危険が待ち受けているもよう。コロニスト達も個性的でユニークな住人としてシミュレートされており、アルコール依存症に陥ったりすることもあるそうです。また、火星に隠された秘密を明らかにする探索要素、MODサポートも用意されています。
